Job Description
​St. Andrew Community Presbyterian Church is looking for a part-time Director of Music to lead our Chancel Choir on Sundays. Our church places a high value on more traditional choral music for our worship each week, but we enjoy newer and contemporary pieces as well.  The director would be in charge of choral choices, leading weekly rehearsals, and supervising an accompanist and bell choir director.  Salary rate is approximately $1,000.00 a month with an estimated 6-10 hours a week of work. St. Andrew is a loving congregation, in the PC(USA), with a full-time pastor who is looking for the right person to collaborate with to make worship a joy for all.

Applicant Requirements/Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Music Education preferred as is experience as music/choral teacher/director or professional musician; must possess knowledge of basic music theory and Christian musical traditions with demonstrated competence and experience​
