CCDA relies on the chairs of subcommittees to guide the Board of Directors’ planning and represent members’ interests and needs. Time commitment Chairs of the Advisory Council meet in person with the Board of Directors twice yearly (end of July and February); Chairs meet with their subcommittee at least twice during the year |
Serve on the Board of Directors
As an independent 501c3, CCDA is led by a board of directors that guides strategic planning, votes on policy, and oversees budget.
Officers:
Time commitment The Board meets in-person three times a year (July, October, February) and maintains ongoing email communication throughout the year. Each officer also serves on one or more committees and takes an active role volunteering for CCDA events and programs.

- Elected Officers [Presidents Council]: President, Past President, President-Elect
- Appointed Officers: Treasurer, Secretary, Membership Director, Development Director
- Appointed Team Directors:
- Community and Music in Worship Director (adult community and professional choirs; church, synagogue adult and children's choirs; community youth choirs)
- K-12 School Programs Director (high school, middle school, elementary choirs; regional and all-state honor choirs)
- Education and Student Outreach Director (university, community college choirs; conducting students; pedagogy)
- DEIAB Director (diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, belonging)
- Staff: Executive Administrator/Secretary (ex officio)
