Welcome to the CCDA Membership page! My name is Marc McGhee and I am exhilarated to be your CCDA Membership Director. CCDA has been an integral part of my choral journey beginning in the student chapter at Fresno State. CCDA has a lot to offer us in our professional development including networking, performance opportunities, advocacy, exposure to new music and new composers, resources, and various others.
CCDA is an affiliate of our national organization, the American Choral Directors Association. As a result, you will renew your membership with ACDA here. You will be a simultaneous member of CCDA. It was at the Fall Conference in Fullerton where I first learned about Takadimi. After that info session, I started using it with not only my choirs, but my band and general music classes as well. It became one of my fundamentals for teaching rhythm and I don’t know what I would do without it!
