Characteristics of an ideal headliner for the CCDA Summer Conference at ECCO

• An energetic, engaging, and charismatic speaker
• Professional contributions in both:
  • Social equity work
  • Musical excellence
• Willingness to help CCDA further its mission: CCDA empowers choral musicians to create transformative experiences for California’s diverse communities
• Respect for diverse communities and the ability to teach and reach them
• A balanced scope of work and variety of presentation topics; multiple levels of teaching or directing experience (i.e. elementary experience along with 4-year university OR has additional experience in the area of faith-based music or community ensembles)
• A strong professional reputation with a high level of personal boundaries and decorum
