2025 All-State Honor Choirs

Rehearsals will be held on the campus of Sacramento State University on Thursday and Friday, January 16 and 17, 2025. Check-in will open at 11:00am on Thursday, January 16th.

The All-State Choir concerts will be held at the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium on Saturday, January 18th, 2025.
- Concert 1 - JHS SATB, JHS SSAA, & HS SATB - 12:00-2:00pm
- Concert 2 - HS SSAA & HS TTBB - 2:30-4:00pm

Audition Instructions

High School Honor Choir (grades 9-12): Auditions for the 2025 High School All-State Honor Choirs are done via the 2024 Regional Honor Choirs. See the Central & Coastal Honor Choir Page for more information on those events.

Middle School/Junior High (grades 6-9): Auditions for the 2025 Junior High School All-State Honor Choirs will be in the fall this year. Audition Information is available at the link here or below.

by August 1: Audition information posted on Regional Honor Choir page
September 6: Regional Honor Choir online audition sign-ups due
​by September 13: Central and Coastal Region Honor Choir audition times emailed to directors and auditionees
September 21 and 28: Regional Honor Choir auditions
by October 4: Audition results emailed to directors and auditionees
October 18: Regional Honor Choir online registration and payment due
November 7-9: Regional Honor Choirs
by November 15: All-State Honor Choir lists posted; online registration link and sheet music PDFs and part learning tracks sent
December 4: All-State online registration and payment due
January 16-18: All-State Honor Choir at CASMEC in Sacramento

​All-State Honor Choir Financial Information

Audition fee: $15
Central/Coastal Regional Honor Choir fee (does not include hotel and meals): $120
(for Southern Region info, visit the SCVA website)
All-State Honor Choir fee (includes hotel and meals): ​$460
Some financial assistance may be available for both the Regional and All-State Honor Choir fees - application information will be included in the audition sign-up and/or registration form.

Please consider donating to the CCDA Honor Choir Scholarship Fund to help make the honor choir experience accessible to all who qualify!
