STACEY KIKKAWA
Director of Choral and Vocal Music, Fullerton Union High School
Stacey Y. Kikkawa is the proud Director of the Choral and Vocal Music Program at Fullerton Union High School, and the current California Choral Directors Association (CCDA) Repertoire and Resources Chair for High School. Ms. Kikkawa has led high school programs in Northern and Southern California including Campolindo High School (Moraga, CA), and Beverly Hills High School (Beverly Hills, CA). Her choirs have consistently received high ratings in national festivals and state competitions, have been featured on television spots such as Home & Family on The Hallmark Channel (S4E211). In 2018, the BHHS Madrigal Singers were featured in the Interfaith Convocation for Music in Worship at the 2018 ACDA Western Division Conference in Pasadena, CA. Ms. Kikkawa completed her Master of Music in Choral Conducting at California State University, Fullerton under Dr. Robert Istad, where she was the recipient of the Elliot and Kathleen Alexander Memorial Scholarship in 2012. She graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education, and a Bachelor of Music in performance with a dual emphasis in conducting and voice from Chapman University under Dr. William Hall and Margaret Dehning. From 2014-2018, Ms. Kikkawa served CCDA as Southern Region Representative for two consecutive terms. She also has performed as a staff singer with Pacific Chorale since 2013, and is on the choral faculty at Arrowbear Summer Music Camp. #lifeofacachoraldirector
