Position Choir Director and Accompanist

Job Description
• Provide Liturgical Music for the following masses: 5pm on Saturdays, 10 am on Sundays and all Holy Days of Obligation or other important events as needed.
• Instruct and Lead the Choir at the scheduled rehearsal time, Tuesday evenings from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
• Provide instrumental accompaniment via Piano or Guitar for those masses.
• Communicate with Priest, Parish staff, accompanists and choir members to prepare for weekly masses.
• Ensure that all musical instruments, microphones, microphone cords, music stands, and microphone stands are serviceable.
• Ensure sound system is functioning properly.
• Create and Print out/have printed weekly or quarterly worship aids for the congregation with the music for the week or for the season.
• Ensure the choir benches and room are tidied up after each mass.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelors in Music; piano; music selection.
