Collaborative Pianist (For Choir) - Chabot college

Job Description: This position would primarily include accompanying the choral ensembles which rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9:50 PM and may include accompanying student lessons, juries, chamber ensembles, wind symphony and recitals.
Applicant Requirements/Qualifications: The desired person for this position will be a strong sight-reader, be stylistically versatile, and have a reasonably flexible schedule.

The music department of Chabot College in Hayward, CA is announcing an
opening for the position of an additional collaborative pianist for the music
department beginning in January of 2026. Hourly pay is commensurate with
documented experience and awarded degrees. This position would primarily
include accompanying the choral ensembles which rehearse on Tuesday
evenings from 7 to 9:50 PM and may include accompanying student lessons,
juries, chamber ensembles, wind symphony and recitals. The desired person for
this position will be a strong sight-reader, be stylistically versatile, and have a
reasonably flexible schedule.
