Job Description
The Camp MusArt Music Lead will serve as the principal music instructor and Music Director for Los Angeles Music and Art School 2026 Summer Production of Annie Jr. The Music Lead will collaborate with the Drama Director, Dance Lead, and Visual Arts Lead to support the development and production of the full musical experience. Responsibilities include leading four daily music classes, each lasting one hour and fifteen minutes, while introducing students to core music and musical theatre concepts, vocal preparation, rehearsal techniques, and performance skills.

Applicant Requirements/Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a music field (such as performance or education) from an accredited college or university (enrolled or graduated)
• Experience developing curriculum and working or supervising K-12 age students.
• Familiarity with music direction, choral music and musical storytelling.
• Knowledge of California Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) standards.
• Good organizational and time management skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks and responsibilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
