Regional Representatives
Term: July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2026

Do you know someone who would be an outstanding Regional Representative for your area?
Or, are you interested in serving the members in your region on the Board of Directors?
All CCDA members are invited to nominate candidates to run for election in one of the three regions. Self-nominations are welcomed and encouraged. Information about the position and eligibility are below.

Board Service ~ Membership Management ~ Event Management
Eligibility:
The nominee must be an ACDA member in good standing
The nominee must have held an appointed position on the CCDA R&R Advisory Council or have held a position or leadership role with another professional service organization (i.e. CMEA, SCVA, etc.)
Board Leadership:
Each Regional Representative is an Officer on the Board of Directors of the California Choral Directors Association, a California non-profit public benefit corporation. The President, President-Elect, Vice-President (collectively, “Presidents Council”), Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Chair, Development Chair, and six (6) Regional Representatives together form the official Board of Directors.
Overview of Responsibilities:
As a voting member of the CCDA Board, each elected regional representative:
actively participates in financial and strategic planning for entire organization
manages region’s membership communications (email, social media, webpage, Cantate)
meets regularly with the Membership Committee (Membership Chair and Regional Reps)
plans, executes, and oversees CCDA events; participates in CCDA and WACDA conferences

Online Elections: February 2024
